Pregnancy nutrition: fruits and vegetables for a healthy pregnancy

Dr. John Corcoran is a member of the Juice Plus+® Children’s Health Study Advisory Committee and an advocate for whole-food nutrition. In this video he addresses the need to eat fruits and vegetables as part of a maternity diet to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

During his years practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Dr. Corcoran counseled patients on the importance of hydration, exercise, stress reduction, nutrition, and supplementation for the prevention and treatment of medical illnesses, as well as for a successful pregnancy outcome. Speaking about Juice Plus+, Dr. Corcoran remarks, "I was extremely impressed with Juice Plus+ and incorporated it into my personal life and medical practice with outstanding results. Today, I continue to educate as many people as I can about the preventative and healing benefits of whole-food nutrition and a healthy lifestyle supported by Juice Plus+."

Dr. Corcoran currently serves on the Board of HOINA (Home of Indian Nations), a non-profit organization serving the poor/homeless children of southern India. He is a board-certified fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Lancaster City and County Medical Society, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and a delegate to the PA Medical Society.
